Hunter Pence, San Francisco Giants

I know nothing about Hunter Pence, but in his prime and waning years he always seemed like a Confederate soldier left behind by history, shrouded in powder smoke.

I watched my first game tonight on Apple TV+. Braves in Coors, and Hunter was the least ghost ridden performer you could imagine. I'm not  endorsing him, or the announcing team, they were fine but not great, but Pence seemed more like the younger brother of my buddy who lived down the block rather than a haunted figure.

He cleaned up good. IOW.
